The 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon Art Series is excellent, possibly outstanding. Its deep ruby/purple-tinged color is followed by a spicy, cedary perfume revealing hints of white chocolate, subtle wood, and earth. Medium to full-bodied, restrained, and elegant, with supple tannin, it does not possess the length or richness of the exceptional 1999, but it is well-made and pure.
