The colour is medium ruby red with violet tints. A complex, well integrated wine exhibiting the classic Cabernet flavours of cassis and blackcurrants intermingling with blackberries and chocolate. The palate shows sweet rich blackcurrants and blackberry flavours and is complemented by integrated French oak and mouth-filling fine tannins. A wine of medium weight that will continue to improve in the medium term.

Arriving First Week of May 2008. Consistently one of Australia's top Cabernet's! On the palate, the generous dark fruit flavours and full body make it almost plump and round, but underneath is a firm but well-integrated tannin structure and toasty, smoky oak in the background. It has good length and finishes with some violet notes. �This brilliant wine could stand proudly alongside the best of Bordeaux. The 2004 has lots of dark berry fruits tempered by warm notes of violets and leather.
