Colour is a medium brick red. Complex and vibrant, sweet, meaty/truffly fruit with perfumed apricot/marmalade and black fruit notes. Concentrated and textured with sweet, briary, apricot-like Now fruit and touches of star anise. Fine dry tannins and excellent length.
Deep rich brick red; sweetly centred with coconut, cherry and ripe plum/berry fruit aromas with a hint of mint. Sweet, spicy plum and cherry-like flavours combine with pronounced, gripping tannins.
"92 Points. This is a very aromatic Grange that seems to be the product of a vintage where the wines are showing extremely well young. It is dense purple, with a sweet blackberry/cherry nose and some subtle cedar and licorice in the background, unctuously textured, thick, full, without as many nuances of some of the greatest vintages of Grange, but very concentrated and dense.
