90 Points. "Delivers intriguing red currant and wild berry aromas and flavors, along with a lively structure. It's sauvage, yet with nimbleness and a sage accent on the finish. Best from 2011 through 2022." Wine Spectator on-line.

88 Points. "Round and elegant, showing pretty cherry, floral and spice notes, with fine-grained tannins emerging on the finish. This is long, if not that complex." Wine Spectator on-line.

89 Points. "Almost black in color with intensely spicy fruit and flavors that are richer, finer and much more structured than the Suchots as well as offering better concentration and length. A very good Vosne villages from a parcel that would deserve to be a premier cru in any other commune." Burghound, 2001.

Very spicy, with pepper, toast, plum, mocha, and showing a crisp texture but enough minerally complexity to turn up the voltage on the finish.

92 Points. "Big, very serious, rather reserved nose with a healthy splash of new oak and Vosne spice notes with more obvious structure and density than the Hautes Maizičres though it is not more complex or finer. This too offers excellent quality with respect to its appellation." Burghound 2001.

90 Points. "Classic Clos de Vougeot profile with its big, large-scaled, slightly austere fruit and angular flavors offering good grip, solid concentration and a subtle underlying complexity. This is quite ripe and delivers a mix of sappy black and red fruit flavors framed by quite a bit of new oak." Burghound 2001.

92 Points. "Inky black with cherry cough syrup nose that is dominated today by new wood. Thankfully, there is plenty of underlying material that may be up to the task of absorbing it over time though I suspect that the oak will always a major component of the flavor profile. The tannins are ultra refined, almost silky in texture for a young Clos de Bčze with rich, velvety and very long flavors of considerable distinction. This would be better without quite so much oak but even so, there is so much wine here that it manages to carry it, at least for today." Burghound 2001.
