91 Points. Even in mag format, this is essentially the same as the wine from 750 ml with perhaps a touch more vibrancy but not enough to make a difference in the score. The note from 750 ml is: Remarkably pure and fresh with no hints of oxidation (which is unusual for '91s today) followed by intense, pure, medium weight flavors and good finishing crispness and minerality. While this is drinking perfectly today, there is no particular rush , provided of course that your example has been well stored. Impressive. Burghound 2005.

"Clean and bright, mineral-laden fruit aromas that are now displaying a trace of secondary aromas followed by medium, pure and intense medium weight flavors supported by solid acidity and fine length. This is still firm but no longer really tight with good Corton-Charlemagne typicity though the finish remains linear and a bit narrow just now. I would be inclined to wait another few years though it could be drunk now with pleasure." Burghound 2006.

93 Points. "Gorgeous aromatics of rich pears and white peaches emanate from the glass of the 2003 Corton-Charlemagne (white). A wine of impressive breadth and harmony, its suave personality spreads out over the palate releasing waves of satin-textured white fruits, slate, and fresh herbs. Lush, supple, and inviting, this offering's long finish displays a slight brightness of acid (natural), rendering it surprisingly light on its feet. One of the top 2003 white Burgundies, it should be at its best between 2006 and 2014. Bravo!" Wine Advocate # 158, Apr 2005

"As it usually is, this is higher-toned and more sophisticated with a ripe mix of citrus and mineral notes as well as green apple that is followed by lemon-infused middle weight flavors that are linear, precise and finish with an almost pungent minerality. This could pass for an average Côte de Léchet but at half the price". Burghound October 2007.

90 Points. "Slightly more evident wood frames riper orchard fruit and a pretty hint of lime that leads to rich, full and sweet flavors that possess excellent volume and plenty of vibrancy on the deliciously sappy finish that is bone dry. This is a lacy and detailed wine of finesse and understatement yet with no lack of power." Burghound October 2007

91 Points. "An expressive and densely fruited nose features orchard fruit and citrus that precedes rich yet detailed flavors that possess a textured and sweet mouth feel, all wrapped in a minerally and punchy finish. This is a relatively powerful wine yet one blessed with balance and solid vibrancy." Burghound Oct 2006.

"The nose combines a gentle hint of wood and exceptionally fresh and bright green fruit aromas that lead to delicious, forward and easy flavors that offer a bit better balance and fine persistence. Like the Mâcon, this would be a good choice for a straightforward house white." Burghound October 2004.
