Just released in March 2008, the Pelorus Vintage 2004 has enticing aromas of ripe red apples, quince jam and rosehips. The wine has a fine, elegant structure that bursts with flavour .... freshly baked lemon biscotti with a nougat nuttiness and creamy minerality ...leading seamlessly in to a long, crisp finish. Another cracking wine from the Cloudy Bay team. I rate the Pelorus vintages as one of the best sparkling wines outside (or inside for that matter....) Champagne! You would be mad not to indulge yourself.
